Thank you.

You’re welcome. So Joe, before coming to Industry Connect, what experience did you have in the marketplace or in the industry and what struggles you have getting into jobs?

Ok. Before I got a job, I graduated from university with information systems and [inaudible] and I was looking for a job after I graduated but there was no response at all. Even if there were some responses, they were all negative. So I decided to join this program at Industry Connect. And they put me into an internship.
So, after working at [inaudible], I finally got one interview, and I managed to secure the job.

Awesome.

And while you did your Industry Connect course and also your internship, what kind of practical skills did you pick up along the way and skills that helped you in securing your job?

I learned about dot.net, C Sharp, SQL, language integrated, Javascript, bootstrap, Kendo UI, Angular JS…

Awesome, and what was it like working on live projects?

On the project, we had a meeting but sometimes the meeting was all about communication skills and talking about interviews or we get to practice interviews, a lot of other projects. We always help each other with the project. We were given a task to do the project.

Great. And you mentioned communication skills. would you say that being here has definitely helped you with the communication skills?
